Once an orphan always an orphan?

My aunt says I am not an orphan just because my father is still alive and I am not a child anymore. She is a heartless idiot.

I know I am certainly at a disadvantage since my mother is dead and I have never met my father. Wishing everyday to call my mom to talk to her. Wishing men would treat me better if they knew my father was looking out for me. This is why I have Exodus 22:22-24 tattooed on my back because so many people don't believe adult orphans have it difficult. I know some may think I am playing the victim. I have wanted to post on having a heiress mentality rather than an orphan mentality and focus on the good things that come from being orphaned. See I may not technically be an orphan....but I was orphaned as a child so I should still be an orphan unless I was adopted.

22 "Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan. 23 If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. 24 My anger will be aroused, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives will become widows and your children fatherless.

Whatever people.

Ghandi was an orphan

When Gandhi was sixteen, his father died - four years later he lost his mother. "The outstanding impression my mother has left on my memory is that of saintliness," Gandhi later wrote in his book of memoir, An Autobiography: The Story of My Experiments With Truth (1927-29).

Be the change that you want to see in the world.
Mohandas Gandhi

Before the throne of the Almighty, man will be judged not by his acts but by his intentions. For God alone reads our hearts.
Mohandas Gandhi

But for my faith in God, I should have been a raving maniac.
Mohandas Gandhi

Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances

Easter Advice : Take it Easy!

I don't have much to say about the upcoming holiday. Just take it easy. Relax. I supposed it can be a sad and lonely day for an orphan. Thats why I went ahead and posted this. I haven't forgotten you guys. I am having some friends over for Easter.

Hard boil some eggs, hang with friends. I do faintly remember Easter when Mom was around. Big baskets usually hidden in the exact same place as the year before. Palm Sunday was much more memorable for us. We would always go to church and get a cross made out of palm leaves. But I don't think this Sunday will be as heartbreaking as the holidays to come.

I have been reading about Gandhi. His father died when he was 15. I went to the doctor and I have been losing too much weight. I need to eat more.

Take care, and take it easy.

Leave some comments on what you are doing on Easter. Maybe some memories.

17 Ridiculously Useful Tips to Make Life Easier

I had to show you guys this link:
17 Ridiculously Useful Tips to Make Life Easier

I'm about to go grocerie shopping. I hope to get at least 15 items for $10 just like last time. I also hope to get things that don't require cooking so it saves me time and electricity. I am still doing my "Black-out month". Sleeping with the dog next to you helps keep you warm. Even if its a little Chihuahua.
